"We created resource packs for our preschoolers who were staying at home during the pandemic and an e-learning community where we could share ideas, experiences, our initiatives and our learning with those at home.
"Our resource packs were embraced by the children who were able to read stories, be creative and engage with science experiments. There was also hands-on-investigation and cooking based on different topics of interest, just like they would at preschool.
"We also uploaded video content to a closed Facebook e-learning group, which brought our educators and experiences into the children's loungerooms."
Pauline said that although it had been a stressful and strange time for families they embraced learning from home and the new risk minimisation strategies at the preschool.
"Now that we are almost back to full attendance, we are making the resource packs available to families as an extension of the children's preschool experience.
"It has been a challenging time, but our service, preschoolers and families have been resilient and we will continue to learn and thrive."
