On May 20 officers attached to The Hume Police District commenced inquiries into reports a 14-year-old girl was robbed and sexually assaulted at a park in Moss Vale.

The matter was referred to the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad who took carriage of the investigation under Strike Force Willunga.
Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal for information, the matter has been resolved and the investigation is now closed.
