Hill Top Soccer Club Inc. Mittagong Junior Rugby League Football Club and Southern Highlands Rifle Club have each received a share in $4.6million funding across NSW.

They were among 10 sporting groups in the Wollondilly electorate, which includes parts of the Wingecarribee Shire, to secure funding.
The funds available under the NSW Government's Local Sports Grants Program are availble to purchase equipment, improve facilities and increase participation opportunities.
Wollondilly MP Nathaniel Smith said the grants would assist local sporting organisations as COVID-19 restrictions slowly eased.
"Sport is a vital part of the fabric of the Wollondilly and Southern Highlands communities. These grants will provide essential funds to help our organisations increase participation as we slowly ease restrictions and will benefit our community in the long run." Mr Smith said.
Mr Smith was pleased that 10 projects in the electorate were allocated grants totalling $73,500.
"We are all looking forward to seeing community sport return to normal when it is safe to do so and this money will provide vital funds to help organisations be ready to resume as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted," he said said.
"Some organisations will buy uniforms for kids to relieve financial pressures on families whilst others will increase female participation and leadership in sport.
"Women's sport has experienced enormous success and growth both on and off the field in recent years and we want that momentum to be revived after the worst of COVID-19 has passed.
"Drought, bushfires and now the COVID-19 pandemic have created significant uncertainty for sport in NSW, particularly in regional areas. People in the regional areas love sport and this money will be a strong boost for local sporting organisations, which not only help our communities stay active and healthy but also perform a vital role keeping people connected."
Hill Top Soccer Club Inc will receive $5000 to subsidise registration fees for players, Southern Highlands Rifle Club will receive $15,000 for solar power and battery and Mittagong Junion Rugby League Football Club has been granted $15,000 for a ladies change room and ground facilities.
