The Gubbins Pulbrook Mitre 10 team had big plans for the celebration of their new-look store at Moss Vale and they had enlisted the support of home improvement identity Scott Cam.

Despite the best laid plans, things didn't turn out exactly as anticipated with the presenter of the popular television program The Block unable to attend.
Numbers of people joining in the day's activities were also down due to cold and rainy conditions.
However, one feature of the planned day of celebrations on March 14 did go ahead - 20 per cent all sales on the day were donated to the Rural Fire Service.
A giant cheque for $5000 was handed over to an RFS representative Martin Surrey by Nick Gubbins on May 14.
