Southern Highlands Foundation chair Shelley Boyce said the cards could be used at designated Southern Highlands businesses.
She said in this way the funds can be kept local which will also benefit the this community.
"Working with the team from FireAid has been very rewarding," she said.
"Where there is an opportunity to work together as a community, we see the very best of humanity, new engagement, empowerment and a growing sense of goodwill.
"The end effect is a more cohesive and caring community."
Ms Boyce said that to date the relief fund was distributing about $180,000 for the FireAid Card.
Funds have also been gazetted for local RFS brigades and Wildlife recovery has received about $50,000.
There will be a residual of about $80,000 for ongoing FireAid emergency relief and mental health assistance.
