In the Southern Highlands there is a caravan currently stationed at the Balmoral Fire Station, with more heading into the region in the coming weeks.
The caravans provide a place for local contractors and Laing O'Rourke staff members to meet, hold safety briefings, share updates on their progress and discuss the upcoming work program.
Laing O'Rourke has assured that it would continue to implement mitigations to limit the transmission of COVID-19 and because of this, the work sites cannot welcome community members at this time.
However, if community members have any questions about the clean-up, they are urged to call 1800 007 539, email nswbushfirecleanup@laingorourke.com.au or visit https://cleanup.lnbr.com.au/.
A spokesperson for Laing O'Rourke said that clean-up work was continuing at pace right across the State.
"The number of properties being inspected and cleared is increasing each week as more and more teams of local contractors come on board," they said.
"So far, there are more than 120 clean-up crews working to clear properties in as little as two days.
"Over the coming weeks, Laing O'Rourke teams will be contacting registered property owners and commencing clean-up works in over 200 locations."
Laing O'Rourke teams will be on the ground and working with local subcontractors in more than 50 localities across the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow, Wollondilly and Wingecaribee regions.
