Seeking creative options has not be lost on one Bowral youngster who recently managed to lock in a bit of fresh air and exercise while also honing his reading skills.
READ MORE:
Bowral Public School student Billy Nicholson, 6, has combined two Rs of education - riding and reading.
It may not be the traditional approach but it certainly captured some enthusiasm from this youngster.
Billy was spotted out with his mum and a sibling taking in some morning exercise on a local bike track.
He leisurely pedalled an interesting style of sit bike while holding tight to a story book.
Billy stopped regularly to read a passage from the book to his mum.
Clearly riding a traditional bike and reading at the same time may not be an option, but billy's quirky bike provided an opportunity for felixibility.
