A man has been charged following an investigation into a stabbing in the Southern Highlands.

Emergency services were called to a house on the Old Hume Highway near Lyell Street, Mittagong at about 6.45am on Wednesday, March 11, after reports a home had been broken into and a man had been stabbed.
A 34-year-old man was treated at the scene for stab wounds to his legs, arms and shoulder before being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers from The Hume Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following extensive inquiries, about 5pm on Wednesday, March 11 police attended Bowral Hospital and arrested a 22-year-old Moruya man.
The man was charged with special aggravated break and enter with wounding.
He was refused bail and is due to face Goulburn Local Court on Thursday, March 12.
Chief Inspector Brendan Bernie said that a connection between the victim and the alleged perpetrator was under investigation and that the incident was not connected to Strike Force Paulwood.
"At this stage investigations have not established a link between the stabbing at Mittagong and the Strike Force Paulwood drug supply investigation," he said.
