Southern Highlands police have taken four men and two women into custody as part of investigations into an alleged drug supply operation.

Hume Police District Chief Inspector Brendan Bernie said police arrested six people from three properties on Tuesday morning, March 10.
"Two search warrants were executed in New Berrima and one was executed a short time later in Mittagong," Chief Inspector Bernie said.
The search warrants were executed with the assistance of the Public Order Riot Squad just after 9am.
Officers located and seized prohibited drugs, cash, weapons, electronic equipment and drug paraphernalia. These items will undergo forensic analysis.
Two men - aged 33 and 34 - and two women - aged 24 and 49 - were arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.
A short time later, a third search warrant was executed at an address in Mittagong.
Two men - aged 35 and 45 - were arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.

Investigators located and seized several items including prohibited drugs, electronic equipment and drug paraphernalia.
Police will allege the 49-year-old woman was coordinating illicit drug activity through a criminal syndicate operating across the Southern Highlands.

"They're currently in custody at the Southern Highlands Police Station," Chief Inspector Bernie told media on Tuesday afternoon.
Police established Strike Force Paulwood in December 2019 to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Southern Highlands.
"Specifically the supply of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ice," Chief Inspector Bernie said.
"Police will also allege that the persons involved were also supplying other prohibited drugs, mainly heroin, cannabis and GHB.
"They're expected to be charged with numerous supply prohibited drug offences and other matters, and are likely to go before Moss Vale Local Court tomorrow [Wednesday, March 11]."

Chief Inspector Bernie thanked the community for its assistance.
"Police would like to thank members of the public in assisting with providing us information which led to this operation this morning," he said.
"We also anticipate further arrests are likely.
"We just want to send a warning out to the community that persons involved in these offences won't be tolerated by our police and we will bring you before the courts."
According to a NSW Police spokesperson, inquiries are continuing and more than 100 charges are expected to be laid.
