Sweet Retreat Gelato owner Declan Veness is serving up the refreshing treat that can be enjoyed by all ages.
In fact, from 3.30pm - 4.30pm - just after school - Highlanders can scoop up a cool afternoon snack at a reduced price.
Declan has introduced Happy Hour at his Bowral store every Wednesday-Friday during school terms offering an after-school discount during the select time frame.
That doesn't mean ice-cream lovers can't enjoy something special at other times of the week.
Cones dip and drizzled in chocolate of chocolate drizzle on the top of ice cream in a cup is on offer for the most decadent tastebuds.
Gelato shakes have also been added to the list of treats on offer at Sweet Retreat Gelato - no syrups, ice or filters, just pure milk and gelato of their choice from the selection on display.
And if you are looking for an expert recommendation Declan suggests people try the peanut butter fudge or even a Baileys Irish cream!
However, there is no shortage of choice with 19 flavours of gelato with two to three types of sorbet available. And to ensure no-one gets bored the award-winning flavours are continually changing.
Sweet Treat Gelato is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12:30pm to early evening at The Mill in Bowral on the corner of Bundaroo Street and Bong Bong Street.
