And one Highlands cricket club is taking full advantage of the opportunity.
The Community Clubs Ticketing Program presents an opportunity for cricket clubs to gain direct financial benefit from a major world sporting event coming to Australia in February and March 2020.
Each ticket purchased through a participating club to the ICC Women's T20 World Cup will earn a rebate of $5 for every adult ticket and $1 for every child ticket with no cap on the number of tickets each club can sell.

Robertson-Burrawang Cricket Club are taking this and looking to hit this opportunity for six.
Robertson Cricket Club member, Kim Hol said this opportunity came about from the Highlands District Cricket Association website.
"I asked fellow members what did they reckon of the opportunity?" Ms Hol said.
"We're going to get all the girls together and watch a match, so that'll be some money raised. It's such an amazing opportunity for our girls to see the Australian team play.
"We'll all be going together and that will really raise some team spirit also. To also win the competition was amazing. We get to go to a semi-final and the kids get to be flag bearers while players sing the national anthem. So walking out onto the SCG, that's a huge encouragement for the kids."
All matches to the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 are accessibly priced from $20 for adults and $5 for children, including the opening match on 21 February between Australia and India at Sydney Showground Stadium.
Executive General Manager of Community Cricket at Cricket Australia, Belinda Clark said "This program is the first of its kind for a major world cricket event in Australia,"
"It is an opportunity for clubs to gain a tangible benefit from hosting a home World Cup," she said.
"It also presents an opportunity for Australian Cricket to show leadership in supporting the growing momentum in the women's game.
"We encourage all clubs across Australia to sign up today, encourage your players, volunteers and supporters to attend and start raising funds for their cricket clubs."
