Rick Mitry of Mitry Lawyers (located in Sydney) said his company was "highly conscious of and shocked by the trauma suffered by so many as a result of the bushfires."
"Many of our friends, including clients and members of our local community in the Southern Highlands, have been impacted," he said.
"If this includes you, please do not hesitate to immediately contact our office so that we can discuss what arrangements we can make to assist you."
Mr Mitry said that other members of the community needing help but unable to avail themselves of the assistance of a lawyer for any legal problems, were also welcome to contact his Sydney-based office.
He said that a member of pro bono team, set up especially for this purpose, would be made available to assist.
"We will be happy to provide you with as much assistance and guidance as we can to a, hopefully, satisfactory outcome at no charge," he said.
Those seeking support under the offer can call 9283 9035.
Anyone seeking legal assistance can call that number or fill in the contact form on the company's website https://www.mitry.com.au/contact and we will be happy to provide pro bono legal/insurance/grants advice to them, which you may need but cannot afford.
