The morning will commence at 9.30am with the official Australia Day ceremony at the historic Berrima District Courthouse.
This will give Highlanders the chance to welcome new citizens to our shire and meet the Australia Day ambassador. During the ceremony the citizen and young citizen of the year will be announced.
At 11am there will be a morning tea and lamingtons on the grounds for this historic building.
Entry to the shire's official Australia Day celebrations is free. Following the official ceremony, Highlanders can relax for the afternoon and enjoy the entertainment, food and market stalls in the Market Place or browse the many stores that Berrima has to offer. This year you will be entertained by the Wingecarribee Vocal Muster.
