The Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro-Am is gearing up to be a thrilling two days of golf, with competitors from around the world entered.
Formed in 1972, the ALPG is a member-based organisation that is the sanctioning body for women's professional golf in Australia and New Zealand.
This year, Moss Vale Golf Club has confirmed a full field of golfers on both days of play, comprising of 84 women professionals and 156 amateurs.
There will be shotgun starts of 7.00 am and 1.00 am each day.
Moss Vale pro Davyd Reeves is looking forward to the event and the course is looking pristine.
"The course is in amazing condition for this time of year," Reeves said.
"Considering the drought, it's looking good. It's a test of a course and players can expect quite fast running greens. We'll try and speed them up."
The 18-hole, par 71, championship course record is 66. It has a number of twists and turns, creek crossings and deceptive greens. This makes the course a true test for golfers of all abilities.
"We've always had really great feedback from the course," Reeves said.
"It's a great layout. If players hit it well off the tee they can get some great numbers.
"But, it can jump up and bite you if you're off-line or off your game. It can be unforgiving."
Players vying for honours include, Stephanie Na (SA), Becky Kay (QLD), Felicity Johnson (England), Christine Wolf (Austria), Manon de Roey (Belgium) and Gemma Dryburgh (Scotland).
The pack is brimming with talent, but there are two players to keep an eye on.
"Whitney Hillier and you obviously can't go past last years winner Tahnia Ravnjak," Reeves said.
"They're both exciting players. It's a very talented field."
The course is expecting a large amount of audience members. There are activities for all ages.
"I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of people at the golf course," Reeves said.
"We've obviously got the ladies coming and that's the big draw along with our regulars and members. But seeing new faces on the course will be great.
"There's the shoot out and a junior clinic also. It'll be great to see some kids and families on the golf course."
The Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro-am is one of the official qualifying events for the ISPS Handa Vic Open and the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open, the two richest events on ALPG tour.
President of Moss Vale Golf Club Norm McDonald said "Adding to the excitement will be the fast-paced Shootout event on Monday evening.
"It's a wonderful chance for both avid golf fans and those unfamiliar with the game to have a course-side view of the tremendous skills of the pros competing," he said.
Spectators are invited to share in the beginning of the fun from 4.30pm on Monday evening, January 27 and enjoy club hospitality whilst viewing the women battle to win the shootout's longest drive and nearest to the pin competitions.
The competition will begin on Tuesday, January 28 and continue on Wednesday, January 29 2020.
