High temperatures and unpredictable winds will keep firefighters on their toes this weekend.

These weather conditions are expected to increase danger for communities near the Green Wattle Creek and Currowan fires.
Southern Highlands Rural Fire Service (RFS) public liaison Kate Carter said this weekend would be challenging for firefighters.
"The conditions on Saturday will be trying. We're looking at conditions a little bit worse than on Tuesday," she said.
"Things will be unpredictable with the winds."
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Jiwon Park said Saturday in particular would be a hot and windy day.
"We expect temperatures to go into the 40s and for very serious fire dangers to return with these conditions," Mr Park said.
"The southern ranges may see an extreme fire danger rating but this can be adjusted depending on the Rural Fire Service.
"It appears a southerly wind will enter in the later part of the evening. This will bring in cooler changes."
Ms Carter urged residents to be prepared to leave their homes.
"We need to look at leaving and leaving early, especially for those who may not be emotionally and physically prepared," she said.
"The fires are going to be unpredictable. Unless you really know what you're doing, there's no other alternative, things are going to be dire."
Ms Carter asked residents to also "be aware" of the weather conditions.
"Be mindful of the conditions around you. Don't lock yourself in a room with air conditioning," she said.
"Monitor the weather, keep up-to-date with the Fires Near Me app and the Rural Fire Service website."
Ms Carter said firefighters were rotated to assist with fatigue management.
"They're all tired but we're trying to rotate them and give them a rest," she said.
"We try to keep them fresh and give them a couple of days off."
