Return and Earn in the Wingecarribee area has collected more than 12.5 million containers, and has helped contribute to more than 2.7 billion containers collected in NSW.
Mittagong Highlands Club has collected 4,479,251 and Woolworths Mittagong West 8,057,818.

An EPA spokesperson said the program had been a success across NSW.
"Return and Earn has fundamentally changed people's thinking and behaviour around litter with over five million drink containers returned every day and growing," the spokesperson said.
"[There is] an impressive current redemption rate of 67 per cent of eligible drink containers supplied into NSW."
