Show her a catwalk and she'll run for cover.
Mikayla (Miki) Cook is a cut-out for modelling.
At 70kgs, 6ft.1 in and 23-years-of-age, she has the looks that would melt an iceberg.
Mikayla is happy with her lot in life.
"I am too nervous, just don't have the confidence to tread a catwalk," she readily confesses.
"I was asked to enter the "Fashions in the Field" at the recent Bong Bong races but declined.
"It's just not my scene. But I admit my parents and I did once discuss the possibilities."
Mikayla plays basketball for the Flamingos in the local A-grade competition that comprises six teams.
She's been playing for the last 10-years. The Flamingos field players between the age of 16 and 40 and play at the Moss Vale Courts.
Her two brothers, Hayden 24, and Jarrod 17, are also fanatical players. Their number one fan is their sister.
Both boys are well over six feet as is their dad, Mark. Mikayla's partner, Jake is also a member of the six feet club, but only as a spectator.
When not peppering the hoop, Mikayla works four days a week at the Glass Cafe in Mittagong.
She is at university doing a degree in Health and Physical Education and recently added science to her workload.
By 2022 she hopes to be teaching in the Highlands.
There has been a health concern. Recent tests revealed her iron and vitamin B levels were below par.
Her interest in "big time" basketball is also below par.
"I never watch the Opals and never tune into the NBA," Mikayla said.
"But I never miss a game when Hayden and Jarrod are playing and they always reciprocate."
The catwalk awaits Mikayla. It will need to be patient. Modelling's loss is basketball's gain.
