The Our Gallery Community Day celebrated the new Southern Highlands Regional Gallery at the old dairy at Retford Park on November 17.
Around 800 people gathered to hear artist Ben Quilty share his vision for the new gallery while artists and performers from the region donated their time to mark the occasion.
Mahalia and Jimmy Barnes along with grand daughter Ruby performed to show their support for the gallery, as well as the Voice's Michelle Cashman, Angus Murray, Ben Malone, and other young up and coming stars of the Highlands.
The dairy came alive with creative activities for all the family - interactive weaving, origami and print making was enjoyed by people of all ages.
More than 20 artists generously donated their time for the day along with a bunch of tireless volunteers led by supporters of the Southern Highlands Regional Gallery who have worked for 25 years for their dream to come to fruition.
