World Environment Day was held at Lake Alexandra Reserve on Tuesday, October 22.
The 11th annual event, which was hosted by Wingecarribee Shire Council, featured information stalls and events hosted by environmental and wildlife experts.
The event was attended by various members of the community as well as students and teachers from 19 schools.

Native Wildlife Rescue's Richard Woodman said he was pleased with the interest and involvement of the schools.
"Perfect weather and all students attending our stand were attentive, involved and well behaved. A credit to their school," Mr Woodman said.
There were 600 students participating in the event, which were broken up into groups of about 20 each.
