After a dead calm start the wind boxed the compass in Race One.
For Race Two at 3pm a light but steady SE breeze held throughout the afternoon making for very pleasant sailing if a tad cool.
Owen Muyt was sailing his very smick new Melges 14 for the first time.
These are the latest single handers on the scene to compete with the Lasers and potentially are faster than a Finn.
Janelle Magee sailed her Leader #155 in her second race with her Blue Boat and is enjoying being able to foot it in the mono fleet.
An expanded Mono fleet should produce some good tight racing as they chase champion Tim Vandervoort on his Spiral for the PS Series.
