They say time flies when you are having fun, so it's not hard to believe that 40 years has passed since an intrepid band of players got together to bring water polo to the Southern Highlands.

There were no indoor pools or even heating, so if nothing else they were very keen and hardy.
The competition this season begins with social games and team finalisation on the October 7 for Seniors with the actual competition starting on the October 14.

The juniors begin on October 15 with their social round, with the actual competition starting on October 22.
Things are a good deal more comfortable now, with the Centenary Pool at Frensham and the heated Mittagong pool used for the Junior and Senior competitions. Using both pools provides the best playing experience for all players.
We are able to accommodate greater team numbers and provide appropriate playing field configurations for each age group/grade - no more standing on the bottom!
The younger U12 players will be able to play in a warmer environment in the indoor Centenary Pool at Frensham.
We are planning a four week 'Introduction to Water Polo' called FlippaBall, for junior players born after 31/12/2008, players only need basic swimming ability and can use flippers if they choose.

New players and teams are always most welcome in all age groups, great fun, good for your fitness and health.
The Senior competition will be divided into A and B Grades with the biggest innovation being the re-introduction of a Women's Competition.
