In fact Highlanders will be treated to the talents of a familiar face when The Soul Movers perform at Mittagong later this month.
The Soul Movers is a bold, five piece band that is ready to give you a guaranteed great time.
The group is led by charismatic and eccentric front woman, Lizzie Mac.
Meanwhile, there is a familiar face on lead guitar, Murray Cook, the original red Wiggle.
The band will perform songs in the style of modern soul, old soul rhythm, blues and retro rock and roll, as well as original power ballads at the Lion Rampant Hotel in Mittagong, on September 29.
The Soul Movers has returned from playing shows from New York City to Los Angeles, while recording a new album - Bona Fide.
This fresh album was recorded in many of the legendary studios in southern USA: Sun and Royal Studios in Memphis and Fame and Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama.
With the band's album now recorded in a full length album the band is excited to share its creative works with audience.
It will set out on a national tour starting from February through to April. But first they are offering an early treat to Highlanders.
The group will be supported by local band 'Bald and the Beautiful', and other local artists yet to be confirmed.
Doors open at the Lion Rampant Hotel on September 29 and tickets are $30 and are available from Brewsters Record Bar, Mittagong, and Lion Rampant Hotel, Mittagong.
