UPDATE 8.35am: The snow has now been replaced with rain according to a Marulan resident. However, the resident has confirmed that northbound traffic is still backed up and travelling "fairly slowly".

7.30: It's true. There is snow at Marulan and at various locations along the Hume Highway between Goulburn and Sutton Forest.
Forget about spring weather, Mother Nature has back tracked for some winter inspired weather conditions.
In fact the icy downfall began at about 1.46am on September 17 and a Marulan resident has confirmed that it is still coming down.
Transport NSW warns that the "widespread snow" is creating dangerous driving conditions along the Hume Highway and northbound traffic is queued for about 18km.
Emergency service and NSW Transport are monitoring the are and motorists are advised to be prepared and equip for sudden changes.
