NSW Ambulance media has confirmed one woman has been transported to Liverpool Hospital via helicopter with suspected leg injuries.
She is in a serious but stable condition.
Meanwhile a second woman has been transported to Liverpool Hospital via road ambulance in a stable condition.
The woman has neck pain and seat belt injuries including bruising to her chest.
Update (4.10pm):
A Rural Fire Service (RFS) spokesman has confirmed the crash was a head-on collision.
A tow truck is currently on its way to the scene.
Ellsmore Road is still open however there is a contraflow in place.
The RFS has three trucks and a command vehicle in attendance.
A NSW Fire and Rescue crew from Bundanoon has also arrived to assist with community first response duties.
Earlier (3.30pm):
Emergency services are responding to a two-car crash at Exeter.
According to a NSW Ambulance Media spokesman, one crew of paramedics arrived at Ellsmore Road just after 3pm and treated two patients.
"One female potentially has a concussion and another female, presumably from the other car, has no obvious injuries," the spokesman said.
Rural Fire Service (RFS) crews, a NSW Fire and Rescue crew and police are also in attendance.
