With a champagne flute in hand and a room full of friends and family by her side, a wonderful centenarian brought in another year.
Resident Beryl Morrissey recently turned 105 and has lived life to the full. With two daughters celebrating by her side, she brought in another year and reflected on how she'd led a great life.

"Being born healthy," Ms Morrissey said.
"I was a healthy baby and I remained healthy my whole life. A couple of champagnes and orange juices help (laughs).
"I've always also been a walker. I get plenty of exercise and I always worked hard."
We just love having her here.

Her daughter Pam remembers her mum's wonderful cooking growing up.
"She loved to cook," Pam said.
"She was never into making fancy meals, but she loved to make beautiful nutritious meals."
Ms Morrissey also played the piano and listened to all the great musicians of her time. "She very much enjoyed Winifred Atwell," Pam said.
"Mum was an excellent [piano] player herself."
"I played a little bit, but I wouldn't put myself up with Winifred Atwell (laughs)," Ms Morrissey said.
Director of Nursing Donna Gladwin's eyes light up just saying Beryl's name.
"We really love her," Ms Gladwin said.
"She's very active and walks the building twice a day. We just love having her here."
