RFS responds to fire near Hume Highway
Crews from the Rural Fire Service have responded to a fire at Paddy's River near the Hume Highway.

A spokesperson from the RFS said the fire had been contained.
Initially six units were called but a single crew contained the fire in 20 minutes.
The grass fire was first reported at 11:24am.
Inspector David Stimson said motorists should be aware of possible smoke drift on the highway.
"It is important to drive to the conditions," he said.
There is no fire threat to property.
