Southern Tablelands Arts director Susan Conroy said that it is vital that artists in the region were aware of this event as it will be the only one for the year.
"It will be their only opportunity to speak with Create NSW about their arts practice and business," said Ms Conroy.
The Create NSW grants information session will run from 10.30am-12.30pm and will focus particularly in the new arts funding streams available for arts and cultural projects.
The venue is Workplace 2580 at 56 Clinton Street, Goulburn.
The session will address include information on the new categories - Projects, Creative Koori Projects and Annual Organisation funding - as well as what has changed from the previous guidelines, how to apply and an opportunity to ask any questions.
The information session follows a major review that has been undertaken regarding arts funding arrangements in NSW, which was announced at a Goulburn art gallery opening in February by NSW Arts Minister Don Harwin.
Fourteen different types of grants for arts and cultural activity have been collapsed into the three new grant options, being Projects, Creative Koori and Annual Organisations.
There will now be only two funding rounds per year across the three grant options. The first round of the new Create NSW arts grants programs will open in early August.
Bookigs are essential for the session, and can be made at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/arts-and-cultural-funding-program-information-lab-session-goulburn-tickets-66545211519
In addition to presenting the new guidelines, Create NSW are offering artists one-on-one consultations with Create NSW staff about your application.
These Lab Sessions will take place after the presentation from 12.30-2.30pm. Bookings are essential at www.creatensw.appointlet.com/s/lab-sessions-goulburn.
