Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) crews will carry out bridge inspections on the highway at Pheasants Nest on Sunday, July 28 between 10pm and 4am, weather permitting.
RMS will also conduct shoulder levelling work on the Hume at Menangle, near Nepean River Bridge, on Monday, July 29 from 8pm to 5am.
The third project will see RMS undertake shoulder levelling work on the highway near Picton Road, Wilton, on Tuesday, also from 8pm to 5am.
Further road shoulder levelling work will be carried out on the Hume at various sites from Sierra Street, Yerrinbool to the Illawarra Highway, Sutton Forest from Wednesday, July 31 to Thursday, August 1 between 8pm and 5am.
Lane closures and a 40 km/h speed limit will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to check electronic message boards for updates, allow an extra five minutes of travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
