Grade 2 Bowral first grade.
Manager Mark Wilson said it was a huge result for the top grade they had been promoted last year after winning the district and zone pennant then getting down to the last 16 in the state finals played in Dubbo.
Mark stated the aim was to at least avoid relegation in the first instance as the team lost seven players from last season and had to rebuild.
One thing was the team spirit that prevailed in all matches.
Grade 2 points at the close of the season:
- Wallacia 73.5 points
- Blacktown workers 61 points
- Glenbrook 52.5 points
- Austral 49 points
- Bowral 45.5 points
- St Mary's RSL 18.5 points.
Bowral final result is subject to appeal.
The reason for that is that St Mary's forfeited the last match and Bowral received half the points in the wisdom of someone making that decision Bowral have appealed that they should be awarded all ten points.
Grade 7. 2nd grade
Bowral was almost at one stage knocking on the door of top spot only to end up A creditable third spot after losing three games by very small margins.
Bowral 3rd grade was proving every one else up for most of the season.
But they were able to show there form at the finish and in the last three matches pulled themselves off the bottom of the the ladder to finish 4 th.

The players who participated in the season thank you although not finishing in any finals the season did illustrate the Bowral fighting spirit.
Congratulations to the players who represented the Robertson club who played in grade 6 and finished a close second to Campbelltown city only five points behind, now Graham Tutt would be chuffed at that result.
