A high pressure system is moving in to the Highlands which will bring above average temperatures for this time of year.
Leading up to the public holiday on Monday, the weekend will be partly cloudy with light winds.
Temperatures will reach low to mid teens during the day with temperatures plummeting to low single didgits in the evenings.
Monday will see temperatures rise to mid to high teens and tops of 20 degrees.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Meteorology said there was a potential for some frosty conditions but there would be no sub zero temperatures with nights becoming quite cool.
The high pressure system follows the low pressure that created 90 km winds in the area and below average temperatures early this week.
