All northbound lanes on the Hume Highway are now open at Denham Court after an earlier truck fire near St Andrews Road.
One northbound lane had remained closed for the salvage operation.
Traffic conditions have returned to normal on the motorway.

A truck fire is causing major delays on the Hume Highway.
Lanes are closed on the Hume Highway at Denham Court after a truck caught on fire at 4 am.
The truck reignited at 7:20 am, with emergency services cleaning the site and putting the fire out.
A spokesperson from Traffic Management said it would take a while for traffic to recover.
Traffic on the Hume Highway is 7 km long, with Camden Valley Way, Narellan Road, Northern Road, Denham Court Road, and St Andrews Road all affected.
Anyone travelling on the Hume Highway is advised to drive carefully in the wet weather and leave plenty of travelling time.
