While a total fundraising tally is still not known, the event is expected to contribute about $5000 to the coffers on Can Assist, a charity that helps patients diagnosed with cancer in the Wingecarribee Shire.
It provides $300 a month per patient for medicine costs in co-operation with local pharmacies.

It also provides food and fuel vouchers as well as respite help.
Can Assist works closely with the Bowral Cancer Clinic, palliative care and doctors in the area.
The organisation relies completely on volunteers and donations with the luncheon one of its major fundraising events each year.
A highlight of this year's event was a presentation by well-known comedian the 'Laughter Master' Anthony Ackroyd.
A raffle drawn on the day also helped boost the coffers of the charity. Raffle winners were Avril Holdstock (first), Jennifer Repesarda (second) and Murray Hull (third).
