Officers in blue were out and about in Corbett Plaza, ready to have a chat with members of the public.
Inspector John Klepczarek from the Southern Highlands Police and Hume superintendent Chris Schilt were there to listen to the needs of the community.
Special guest, the Honorable David Elliot, minister for police, was also on hand to get to know the locals and to foster community relationships.
"The best way to build community relationships is with face to face interaction," he said.
"Whether it's from sport, PCYC or coffee with a cop, it's all about building relationships with the community."
Wollondilly MP, Nathaniel Smith was also in Corbett Plaza, getting to know his constituents.
