Juliette finished her schooling last year at Oxley College and came third in the state for Design and Technology.
She is taking a gap year, prior to commencing a course at RMIT in Melbourne in Design and Communications next year.
This entrepreneurial idea was needs-based to assist her in saving for a trip to Europe.
Ms Swain plans to meet up with some of her friends, who are doing gap years in the United Kingdom in schools around the countryside.
The store is located at 26 Wingecarribee Street and is open six days a week until the end of April.
The store is not open on Tuesdays.
Chamber priorities
In the lead-up to the state election, all candidates were asked to commit to necessary transport infrastructure upgrades of major town centres.
"We welcome the commitments from the Coalition... of $14 million for stage one of the Moss Vale bypass, in addition to funding to straighten sections of the Southern Highlands Line," Illawarra Business Chamber executive director Adam Zarth said.
"Moss Vale is a key economic and industrial hub for the region, but it is constrained by traffic movement through its CBD.
"This must be addressed in order to encourage new business to Moss Vale and to drive increased retail trade along Argyle Street.
"This is a much-needed commitment to our town and the business community, and we congratulate the Coalition on recognising Moss Vale's traffic issues," Moss Vale and Rural Chamber of Commerce president Brigid Kennedy said.
"I anticipate even more local traffic - when housing developments come online - so if all unnecessary traffic is diverted we will have a safer more workable main street."
Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Industry chair Steve Horton named progression of Bowral's Station Street upgrades as a major priority.
"This will support local businesses by improving the flow of traffic allowing easier access in and out of Bowral," Mr Horton said.
