Road works are scheduled for immediate commencement on Kirkham Road in Bowral.

Works will include a full width rehabilitation of the road pavement, road widening and curve realignment.
In addition to the construction of the new concrete asphalt surface the adjacent road drainage will also be upgraded.
New safety signage, line-marking and raised pavement markers will also be installed.
These works will be carried out on a section of Kirkham Road between Sherwood Avenue and Mittagong Road.
Construction activities will be carried out between 7am and 6pm weekdays.
During construction sections of the road may be temporarily reduced to one-way traffic however the road will remain open to through traffic.
Road users are cautioned to follow the changed traffic conditions, exercise care when traveling through the work zones and be aware of loose stones and heavy machinery within the work areas.
Works are expected to be completed by the end of June 2019. All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
Funding for the Kirkham Road Industrial Access Reconstruction Works has been provided by the State Government’s Restart NSW Fixing Country Roads Program and Wingecarribee Shire Council’s special rate variation improvement program.
