Ms Prendergast's contract will be extended for five years, from September 23, 2019 until September 22, 2024.

The general manager's annual remuneration package will be set at $330,000 from September 23, 2019.

Upon her re-appointment, the general manager will conduct a wellness survey of the organisation.

The results of the survey will be delivered within a four-month timeframe.

The re-appointment was made at a closed extraordinary council meeting on February 28.

This was after a performance review was conducted as a result of a motion moved at a closed council meeting in December.
