Scheduled road work will close the road from Wilton to the Princes Motorway from 7.30pm to 4am on Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4.
A detour is in place via Appin Road and the Hume Motorway.
Light vehicles can also detour via Broughton Pass between Appin and Picton Road.
Light vehicles travelling between Wollongong and the Hume Highway can also detour via Macquarie Pass.
