Southern Highlands Youth Orchestra wants you!
Southern Highlands youth orchestra operates as an independent, not for profit organisation that focuses on building an orchestral community culture for youths.
Music director Elise Ali is passionate about ensuring plenty of opportunities for young musicians by facilitating workshops, masterclasses and music camps.
"I am passionate about ensuring that these opportunities are available for Southern Highlands Youth as playing and experiencing these opportunities with their peers is such an important part of their musical development," she said
The SHYO aims to provide these opportunities to all orchestral playing youth in the Southern Highlands irrespective of schools, location and teachers, whilst fostering close relationships with various community groups and schools.
The group rehearses every Thursday at 5:00 pm at the CWA Hall, 40 Wingecarribee Street, Bowral.
