Mittagong took out top spot for cheapest place to fill up for regular unleaded petrol in the Highlands this week, according to the NRMA’s latest weekly fuel report.

The average price dropped to 124.3 cents per litre in the week ending February 17.
This was a 0.4 cent change from last week, with a price of 124.7 cents per litre.
Of the 57 regular unleaded and diesel locations monitored by Bowser Buster, Mittagong placed fifth as the cheapest location for petrol for the close of business of February 17 with an average of 124.3 across the bowsers.
This will come to a relief to people fueling up.
In previous years Mittagong has often topped regional NSW for the most expensive prices.
Meanwhile Moss Vale stayed the same from last week with an average of 128.4 cents per litre in the week ending February 17.
In the previous week, diesel was 145.9 cents per litre in Mittagong and 142.7 in Moss Vale, a slight decrease from February 10.
Over the past week average regular unleaded prices fell 0.1 cents per litre (cpl) this past week, while diesel prices were stable in regional NSW towns.
Global oil prices rose $US 3.27 per barrel this past week with the weekly average Tapis (Asian crude) price rising 1.2 cents per litre (cpl) in $A.
The Singapore price of unleaded petrol, Mogas 95, which is the key petrol benchmark for Australia rose from US$ 62.35 a barrel to US$ 66.13 a barrel this past week.
In $A terms the average price of mogas rose 1.2 cpl.
