The clinic was held at Loseby Park in Bowral on Wednesday 9.
Youth program Facilitator for the Highlands Youth Services, Sarah Blake said the idea is to get kids socialising and out and about doing something physical.
“The majority of the players here are from the Bowral Kookaburras,” Ms Blake said.
“The clinic is designed to get their skills ready for the upcoming season and the West Tigers support the five ways to well being for the Southern Highlands.”
West Tigers Community Coordinator, Keehan Diamond said it’s all about getting the kids active over the school holidays.
“It’s about teaching the kids some new skills and tips,” Mr Diamond said.
Under 13s Kookaburra coach, Chris Shea said it’s a great activity for the kids to be apart of and an excellent opportunity to sharpen their skills before the season.
From 1 January 2019 parents across NSW can create and redeem their next $100 Active Kids voucher. The program runs until 2021.
