Journey through history this summer at the Bradman Museum with India's greatest cricketers, who led their nation into sporting glory. The exhibition coincides with the Indian cricket team touring Australia this summer. The exhibition contains many significant artefacts, and focuses on the 1980s through to the present, a period of unprecedented success for Indian cricket.
A portrait of India's greatest cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, by prominent Australian artist Dave Thomas, will also be unveiled. The exhibition is open until February 28. The Wildlife Art of Garry Fleming exhibition
Artist Garry Fleming has taken up residency at the Milk Factory Pop-Up Gallery for the month of December. Along with original paintings for sale, the artist will have a range of gifts available including watches, children’s puzzles, books and canvas prints. The artist will be at the gallery most days, working on an original piece.

Sarsaparilla photographic exhibition
“Sarsaparilla”, a new exhibition of recent Australian works by photographer, Mary Anne Brophy, opens at MABû Gallery, Berrima, in December. Having recently moved to the Southern Highlands after many years in Europe, Mary Anne is reacquainting herself with the colours, contours, and rhythms of Australia. The photographs in this exhibition were taken between Innisfail and Araluen, and on beaches and backroads in between.

The Summer Exhibition 2019
The Summer Exhibition includes a mix of works from the Milk Factory Gallery stockroom and exhibitions held throughout 2018. Works include paintings, etchings, limited edition prints, photography, sculpture and glass.

New Design Three and the National Contemporary Jewellery Award
The third exhibition in the series of New Design exhibitions at the Sturt Gallery brings together a diverse group of designers and makers to showcase work that is pushing at the boundaries of the extraordinary. The selected artists are constantly evolving their making practice, incorporating new technologies and new thinking. The exhibition will bring together separate creations in furniture, textiles, glass, paper, ceramics, resin and Indigenous craft to complement each other in settings.
There will be furniture and woodwork by Aidan Morris, Steve Harper, Grant Robertson, Max Harper and Rachael Hanrick, textiles by Bonnie and Neil, ceramics by Amy Hicks & Sarah Ormonde, glass by Scott Chaseling, paper weaving by Gunjan Aylawadi, and mixed-media vases by Kanun Onsel.
The 2018 National Contemporary Jewellery Award is a biennial acquisitive award exhibition from Griffith Regional Art Gallery that encourages new work in the world of Australian jewellery. The exhibition will run until Saturday, February 10.

Louise Atkinson watercolour – The Possum
Returning to the Southern Highlands is a significant painting by Louisa Atkinson, a noted botanist, journalist, novelist and artist of the mid-1900s. The watercolour entitled ‘Study of a Possum’, painted in 1860, has been put on display at Harper’s Mansion, the National Trust property in Berrima, for a limited time.
Many of Louisa's works are now held by the NSW State Library but the ‘The Study of a Possum’ was gifted to the National Trust by Janet Cosh, Louisa’s granddaughter, a long-time resident of Moss Vale. It hung in Old Government House for several years and has recently been restored and re-framed.

The Disability Trust Art exhibition – Access All Art
View painting creations by the Mittagong Club Trust Art Group. This is 'The Disability Trust's, Club Trust Art Group's' inaugural art exhibition in the Bowral Art Gallery (BDAS). The groups are delighted, excited and keen to share their paintings with friends and public alike.
Club Trust Art Group have undertaken many projects, all positively embraced and enthusiastically fulfilled. Use and layering of colour and mark-making is self evident in the works on show. The group have participated in art exhibitions held in the Foyer Gallery at Wingecarribee Shire Council and currently have a mural in the Empire Cinema Walkway.
The group's facilitator Tony Diegan's objective is to give the individual a confidence in colour, extend their mark making ideas and build self-belief to be able to "change things", with paint, when they "go wrong".
