Goulburn MP, Pru Goward said the funds would deliver much-needed improvements to the church’s facilities including the repair of wooden flooring with new coverings, an infra-red heating system, window repairs and new blinds.
“This is fantastic news for Berrima. Funding grassroots initiatives will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social outcomes for the church,” she said.
“I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”
The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since ti commenced almost a decade ago.
