The answer is- every student who starts at Gib Gate in Preschool.
“At Gib Gate we believe that every child - not just a select few - should have the opportunity to be part of a major production, experiencing the challenge of rehearsing, problem solving and collaborating, and the excitement of performing in front of real audiences,” Head of Gib Gate Sally Robson said.
Producing two musicals a year - one designed specifically for students in Preschool to Year 2 and the other for Years 3 to 6- is no mean feat but one that Gib Gate holds as a core experience for all students.

The recent 2018 Gib Gate productions of The Colour Factory and Madagascar Jnr were warmly received by audiences with all students in Year 2 and Year 6 cast in lead roles.
“As a result, every Gib Gate Year 6 student leaves for high school confident in front of any audience and an expert in the creative process- essential 21st century skills,” Ms Robson said.
