This year the annual carols will be held at Bradman Oval on Thursday, December 6.
The community event is organised by Southern Highlands Christian School and promises an evening of caroling, dancing and family fun for all.
Director Irma Fourie said organisers expected more than 5000 to turn out to the festive event.
“Don (pun intended) your ugly christmas sweater and join in the merriment of celebrating of the season together,” she said.
The evening will kick off a picnic, children’s activities and entertainment at 5.30pm, and a nativity parade will follow at 6.30pm.
Warm up your vocal cords for the carols at 7.30pm, and settle in for the fireworks at 8.45pm.
Meanwhile, Highlands families can bring along picnic blankets, fold-up chairs, food, drinks and plenty of festive spirit for what promises to be a great family night out.
In the event of wet weather, the event will be held at Southern Highlands Christian School.
The carols will once again support the Barbara May Foundation.
The Barbara May Foundation (BMF) was founded in 2009 by retired Bowral obstetrician David Browning, and retired Bishop George Browning, in honour of their mother.

Valerie was joined by her nephew Dr Andrew Browning in 1999.
Together, they provide access to caring and knowledgeable maternal health professionals who treat all women with patience, respect and cultural sensitivity.
