Locals looking to spend Sunday morning “somewhere inspiring” are invited to attend the event, which attracts people interested in spiritual growth and self reflection.
Ms Bell, a popular Bowral musician, teacher and composer, has star billing this month and will present her Music for the Soul collection of pieces.
She will play folk harp, drones and percussion. Expect to enjoy an eclectic musical performance that includes sacred, folk, jazz and world music elements.
Each month Soul Time organisers explore a new theme designed to inspire and promote higher-order thinking amid a tranquil environment.
Typically, Soul Time sessions feature live music, audio visual pieces and readings from faiths and philosophers, authors, leaders and indigenous cultures, from all over the world.
This month the theme is Restoring the Balance – how our spiritual well-being affects the equilibrium of our health and physical well-being.
Although Soul Time is run by the Wingecaribee Bahai community, it is not a religious event and there is never any one belief system in focus.
The event is free, open to all and there is no need to book. It is friendly and casual, morning tea follow the program.
Sunday’s (November 18) event will be held in the Henrietta Rose Room, 16 Bendooley Street, Bowral (adjacent to Bowral Library).
