Wingello resident, Steff Roderick said she was frustrated by major congestion issues and her NBN had completely dropped out on occasions.
“We were getting a 1.45 megabites per second download speed and if it wasn’t being that slow it had dropped out altogether,” Ms Roderick said.
When contacting her provider, Ms Roderick said an NBN technician had been sent out twice, only to cancel both inspections “due to congestion”.
“I was then told it won’t be fixed till next quarter, next year,” Ms Roderick said.
Daily tasks and online leisures have become almost impossible.
“My kids cant use Netflix, we can’t game online to relax and paying bills and banking has become difficult,” Ms Roderick said.

Hume MP Angus Taylor recently announced new penalties for breaches of NBN service standards and said he would be pushing for these rebates to flow through as discounts for customers.
“It’s important that NBN customers, of which there are more than 40,000 in Hume, see the NBN being held to account for poor customer service,” he said.
“I urge the telcos to pass on any rebates from NBN as discounts to customers.”
