The under-13 division two grand final between Moss Vale and Bowral Wanderers went down to a penalty shootout to determine who would be crowned premiers.
It was a tightly contested match with the score locked at 1-1 at the break and then 2-2 at full time.
Neither team was able to break through in extra time.
With their sixth penalty kick, Moss Vale found the back of the net and won the 2018 title.
It was the first grand final experience for the Moss Vale side and coach Lynda Rough said it was a great performance.

“There was a lot of nerves but I think there was more excitement. We were minor premiers this year so we were under pressure to win but they all played so well as a team,” she said.
“They talked well together and played and passed well together. For their age their teamwork is amazing. It’s been a great team and they’re all good mates which I think is the best thing.”
Rough also thanked the Moss Vale club for its support throughout the season.
In the under-13 division one grand final, Yerrinbool-Bargo Bushrangers celebrated a 5-1 win over Exeter.
