Last Friday night in the Southern Highlands women's first grade competition, Burrawang kept its finals hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Bowral.
The win came in extra time.
Also over the weekend, the Burrawang Banksias beat Burrawang Waratahs to advance to the ladies grand final in the Shoalhaven competition.
The Burrawang Banksias will now play Shoalhaven Heads in the decider this Saturday.
It was a very tight match between the Banksias and the waratahs.
But it was the Banksias that won 1-0 after a penalty stroke was awarded in the first 10 minutes.
Both teams played well and the club wishes the Banksias well in the grand final.
The Burrawang Bunyip men have also advanced to the Shoalhaven competition grand final after they defeated the Shoalhaven Pirates 5-0.
