The team won its grand final over the weekend, claiming a 3-1 win over Helensburgh.
Broadie Gentles found the back of the net twice with Frankie Nesci also scoring.
Harrison Ash was named man of the match.
HFC coach Craig Ash said it had been a tough few years for the boys and was glad to see their hard work rewarded.
The team finished second in the regular season behind Unanderra, a team that lost both its finals matches.
“We were probably favourites to win the game but Helensburgh was very organised and very competitive as you would expect,” Ash said.
“It was tough for us. We dominated the first half but the boys were frustrated at not getting any goals.”
Ash said it was a strong effort all year from the boys with Nesci their danger player up front..
He also praised the effort of Seth Sotirios throughout the year, who he said never missed a game or training session but was unable to play in the grand final due to illness.
Ash said the team could be promoted up a division next year but would have to wait and see how the competition was structured.
The Highlands team consisted of Brodie Gentles, Kade Hanrahan, Harry Ash, Henry Whatman, Connor Creevey, Nick Shanks, Seth Sotirios, Frankie Nesci, Brody Gilkes, Isaac Mills, Ben Sloan, Jarrod Wilson and Henry Connell.
