The team recently received a full occupancy certificate.
There will be two more stages for the upgrade, which will be completed after the bushfire danger period.
Exeter Rural Fire Brigade captain Andrew Smith said the upgrade would help the team better serve the community.
“It gives us a much better establishment to work from, train and get together so we can better prepare for the upcoming fire season,” he said.
